Refund Policy

At Lush Layers Bakery, we take pride in creating delicious, handcrafted cakes for every special occasion. We want every customer to be happy with their purchase, and we’ve designed our refund policy to be fair and clear.

1. Order Cancellations

• We accept cancellations for standard cake orders up to 3 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date for a full refund.
• Custom or specialty cake orders must be canceled at least 5 days in advance to qualify for a full refund.
• Cancellations made after these time frames may not be eligible for a refund, as ingredients and preparation work may have already begun.

2. Refunds for Quality Issues

If you believe there is a problem with the quality of your cake, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. We may request a photo of the issue or that you return the cake (or portion of it) for inspection. If we confirm the problem, we will offer:

• A replacement cake
• A store credit
• Or a full refund, depending on the circumstances

3. Non-Refundable Items

• Cakes that were not picked up at the agreed time
• Custom cakes with design elements approved prior to production
• Cakes damaged after pickup or delivery due to mishandling

4. Refund Processing

Once approved, refunds will be issued within 5 to 7 business days to your original payment method.
